Makes about 4 cups
This super vitamin C smoothie is a sweet and tart delight. Sour camu camu berry and sorrel are the ideal accompaniments to the pleasant sweetness and slight astringency of grapefruit.
3 cups fresh grapefruit juice
1 Tbs. camu camu powder
2 tsp. echinacea powder
3 cups fresh sorrel leaves
1. In a high-speed blender, combine grapefruit juice, camu camu powder, echinacea powder, and sorrel. Blend until completely smooth.
Variation: If you’d like to pump up the amount of echinacea or camu camu, feel free to add as much as you like along with 2 pitted dates to maintain the flavor.
