Berg recommends drinking this kale shake every day as an easy way to help maintain adequate levels of bile (with or without a gallbladder). Blending the kale helps to break down nutrients, making them easier to absorb, and berries enhance flavor as well as provide more nutrients and fiber.
1 dense handful of kale leaves
1 handful of frozen berries
1 cup of water
Blend these ingredients for 1–3 minutes, or longer if needed, to make a smooth shake. Blending time depends upon the power of your blender.
